Anyelainy (Angie) Vizcaino Araujo

Anyelainy (Angie) Vizcaino Araujo has dedicated her life to volleyball from a young age. Her journey began at just two years old, playing for a club where she was immersed in a dynamic environment, surrounded by diverse coaches who helped shape her skills and character.

In 2015, Angie took her passion for volleyball to another level by teaching basic skills to young girls aged 8 to 12 at a small volleyball academy in Santo Domingo. Her dedication and natural ability to connect with young athletes quickly became apparent. The following year, she expanded her role, coaching girls between the ages of 14 and 16, where she honed her leadership skills and deepened her understanding of player development.

Angie took a brief hiatus to concentrate on her academic pursuits, aiming to complete her degree. However, her love for volleyball never waned. In 2022, during her sophomore year as a varsity player, she returned to coaching at the "ASEVC" All Star Empire Volleyball Club. Initially joining as an assistant coach for the 17’s National team, Angie's talent and leadership quickly propelled her to the position of Head Coach, where she thrived, guiding teenagers through a competitive season.

In 2023, the directors of ASEVC recognized Angie's dedication and effectiveness, assigning her to coach the 14 Premier team. Under her guidance, the team experienced a successful season, achieving top rankings in the Geva Region and excelling at the Northeast Qualifier (NEQ) tournament. Her ability to inspire and lead young players has made a significant impact on the team’s performance and cohesion. Her commitment to excellence and her players' development was further demonstrated through her involvement in the ASEVC Summer Virginia Beach Volleyball Camp and other high-performance camps.

Today, Angie continues to coach the 14 Premier team at ASEVC, where her hard work and commitment to nurturing young talent are celebrated and trusted by the club's directors. Her journey reflects not only her love for the sport, but also her unwavering dedication to fostering the next generation of volleyball players.
